Refund policy
1. Eligibility for Returns and Exchanges
We accept returns and exchanges for most products, provided they are unused, in original condition, and returned by the customer through self-shipping at their own cost. Products must be returned in their original packaging.
2. No Return Pickup
We currently do not offer return pickup services. All returns must be self-shipped by the customer to our warehouse.
3. Refunds
Refunds are provided once the returned product is received, inspected, and approved. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Shipping costs, duties, and customs fees (if any) are non-refundable.
3A. Refund Processing Time (Added)
Once approved, refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or bank.
4. Exchanges
Customers may request an exchange for items of equal or higher value. If the new item is of higher value, the difference must be paid before dispatch. If lower, a store credit valid for 6 months will be issued.
4A. Exchange Shipping Cost Responsibility (Added)
For exchanges, the customer is responsible for:
- Shipping the original item back to us
- Paying additional shipping charges for the new item being shipped out
Exchange shipping is not free.
5. Defective or Damaged Products
If you believe the item is defective, please record a detailed box-opening video showing the package condition and the item as opened. This helps us identify whether the defect occurred before dispatch or afterward. Exchanges or replacements for defects are subject to verification.
6. Custom and Made-to-Order Items
Custom products are eligible only for exchanges in case of verified manufacturing defects.
7. Return Condition Requirements
Returned items must:
- Be unused and in sellable condition
- Include all original tags, labels, and packaging
- Pass a quality check upon arrival at our warehouse
7A. If an Item Fails Quality Check (Added)
If the returned item fails the quality inspection (used, damaged, stained, or missing packaging):
- The return will be rejected
- The customer must pay the shipping cost if they want the item sent back to them
No refund or exchange will be issued for rejected returns.
8. Timeline
Customers must inform us within 15 days of receiving their order. Items must be shipped back within 7 days of approval of the return request.
8A. International Return Instructions (Added)
For international returns, customers must clearly mark the package as:
“Return – No Commercial Value”
to avoid import customs being incorrectly charged to us.
Any customs duty incorrectly charged to Storilane during the return process will be deducted from the final refund.
9. Non-Eligible Items
- Items without original packaging
- Damaged items not supported by box-opening evidence
- Products purchased on sale or clearance (unless defective)
- Any item returned without prior approval
10. Store Credits
If applicable, store credits are valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
